     Copa America 2011
     Argentina

The 2011 Campeonato Sudamericano Copa América, better known as the 2011 Copa América or the Copa América Argentina 2011, will be the 43rd edition of the Copa América, the main international football tournament for national teams in South America. The competition is organized by CONMEBOL, South America's football governing body, and will be held in Argentina from July 1 to July 24, 2011. The defending champion is Brazil. The highest finishing CONMEBOL team (other than Brazil) will earn the right to compete for the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup hosted by Brazil.
The other favorite of the tournament besides Brazil, the host Argentina has been very disappointing so far and all they have to show from 2 games are two ties against teams who they should have easily won. And now a really big shock is in the air, because there's a great chance that Argentina won't make it to the quarter finals. Of course Brazil wants to do better than that and for that they need to win the game agains Paraguay.  Watch Brazil vs Paraguay live stream online on July 9 in Copa America 2011 classification match. Brazil who is one of the favorites to win Copa America 2011 will play their 2nd match of the cup on Saturday July 9. After the first round all teams in group B have equal chances to make it to the quarter finals as both games in the first round ended with 0-0 tie so all 4 teams in group B have 1 point right now.
None of the tournament favorites has gotten a single win yet. After a 0-0 draw against Venezuela to commence their tournament, the giants play their second game on the 9th on July.  The Selecao are fortunate to be on pole position in group B as the other fixture between Paraguay and Ecuador also ended in a 0-0 stalemate, otherwise they would’ve been 2nd or 3rd in group B. The star-studded team of the Samba boys tried their hardest to break down Cesar Farias' resilient side, and despite a good start, struggled to find a way past Renny Vega as the match ended without any numbers on the score board. Coach Mano Menezes' side will face a stronger challenge in its second fixture Saturday, as it faces off against 2010 World Cup quarter-finalists Paraguay. Alexandre Pato, who got the closest to scoring against Venezuela is quite confident ahead of the second match and believes that this young team can lift the trophy for the 3rd consecutive time. "There are two more games, we will win and will qualify to the quarter-finals. We are all convinced we can win the cup but the team is new, the coach is new, everything is new," the 21-year-old told Argentinean news agency. Team mates Dani Alves and Neymar are also confident of getting a win against the Paraguayans as they have now built more chemistry with the squad. Paraguay is the underdog against Brazil with a money line of +425 or decimal odds of 5.25. They also tied their first game this time against Ecuador with a 0-0 score.

Paraguayan sports media expected more of their national team highlighting Paraguay’s clear scoring opportunities against the Ecuadorians. However Paraguay is a solid team collectively, but lacks the superstars Brazil has.Paraguay will rely on their team playing and a defensive strategy this Saturday against the Cariocas who need to prove they are one of the favorites to take the tournament. The South American giants are set for an exciting battle at Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes, with the goalless draws in their opening games putting extra pressure on the players before this game.Brazil largely disappointed at the start of Copa America, having failed to register a goal against Venezuela, but the competition format is such that it gives all the teams a chance to make amends.Coach Mano Menezes is aware that his side need to show a lot of improvement if they are to beat very good Paraguay side, so I don’t see a big value in odds of 1.67 (2/3) offered by Bet365 on home win.The interesting thing is that Brazil failed to find the net in four of last six games in all competitions, and Selecao are now 4.75 (15/4) with Sportingbet not to score against Paraguay as well. While the gaffer has refused to comment on the possible changes in the starting line-up, there are reports that 18-year-old Lucas Silva is set to replace Robinho up front.Meanwhile, Elano looks set to get the nod in midfield, with Chelsea’s Ramires dropping to the bench. We provide customers with a huge range of betting opportunities with all sports covered including football, horse racing, tennis, cricket and basketball. Group B [Group Stage] :: Copa America Argentina 2011 :: Argentina
Each team’s rather boring draw on the first match-day might have served as a huge lesson. Fans are unhappy, and certainly rightfully so. But for Paraguay, Coach Gerardo Martino has promised that the main focus will be to score. The manager, who works with strikers Roque Santa Cruz and Nelson Haedo Valdez at his disposal, has ordered his team to approach Brazil boldly.“We won’t give up the intention of playing, attacking and trying win the game,” Martino revealed during a press conference. We are not perfect as a team. But we are working to maintain attention, concentration, and work-rate for 90 minutes.”
